Deck Department

Exterior crew are the team responsible for everything that happens outside the yacht, shaping the vessel’s first impression, its safety, and the smooth execution of every guest activity on deck or in the water. They maintain the yacht’s exterior to superyacht standards, manage all lines, tenders and toys, and support navigation and operations with precision and professionalism.

Their work blends technical skill with guest‑facing service, ensuring that the yacht always looks immaculate and that every outdoor moment—from a beach setup to a tender transfer—feels seamless and elevated.
This department includes roles such as deckhands who handle maintenance, water sports and daily deck operations, senior crew like bosuns who oversee deck workflow and guest activities, and leadership positions such as the first officer who manages safety, navigation support and deck team coordination.

Together, they form the operational backbone of the yacht’s exterior environment, keeping the vessel safe, polished and ready for guest enjoyment at all times.
